It was my lucky day when Bradley Hayes from Prestige Slate came onto my roof. A rare find, combining professionalism, true craftsmanship and an ability to explain stuff in plain speak.He lovingly and respectfully repaired my beautiful chimneys so that I have been able to reclaim all my pots and pans from the five (!) fireplaces. He also replaced any broken and not-so-pretty slates. I'll be totally confident in him also replacing the valleys when that time comes.

AMAZING guys at prestige slate roofing. Brad is a total legend. Highly recommend these guys.Had some water coming in our aged slate roof.. needed attention.Had alternative quote from elsewhere / they didn’t even come to look at it before telling me I needed whole new roof - lots of $$ but They just drew that conclusion from old google earth photos. Didn’t even come to have a look.So then I Called brad at prestige for a second quote , who came (free quote) with his drone etc - climbed up into roof space had a really good look - spent ages here checking it all out and then sent detailed quote. He concluded a repair would be fine. Saved me an absolute fortune and did an amazing job. Sent photos of what he was doing on the roof (otherwise we’d have no idea what needed done and the repair work.)Excellent. He’s done such a good job though, we prob won’t need him back for decades!!

Apart from their outstanding craftsmanship, Brad and his team were reliable, courteous and diligent. On a day when rain threatened, they turned up early, worked feverishly and when the rain came; rather than putting up a tarp and going home, they finished the job in the cold and the wet. Very rarely do you find a professional tradesman like Bradley. A craftsman of the highest order. Bradley repaired our slate roof, replaced chimney lead & valleys and ridge capping. I would recommend Bradley to anyone needing repairs or replacement. Honest & extremely reliable unlike other companies that call themselves slate roof repairers( many just use glue). If you need a slate roofer and have been luck enough to have found Bradley…. There is no choice…. Just do it!

Brad recently did work to repair our terracotta roof (re bedding and re pointing ridge tiles, and replacing the rusted valleys). Brad did an amazing job repairing the flashing and replacing a number of broken tiles on our old slate roof, which had been causing issues from recent rainfall and storms.From his initial quote, Brad was extremely honest and provided us with a competitive price. He explained all the issues he identified, potential causes of the leak and was helpful in answering all of our many questions about the work.We couldn’t be happier with the repair and really appreciate his hard work.
